Pantry Organizing Refresh

Doesn’t the start of a new year just make you feel so fresh and ready to take on any project? Well, our Pantry Organizing Refresh was a HUGE project!

Now that is it done, I am so ready to take on alllll the cooking projects! Ok, so maybe that’s pushing it, but I am loving being able to find snacks at the ready! I love how there is a place for each and every thing and we can see everything – so we know what we have on hand or what we need!

I partnered with Bee Organized to do a pantry overhaul and she did SUCH an amazing job! First thing she did was take everything out (it was embarrassing how much can accumulate when you can’t see everything! It helps so much to have all the items organized by type of food, sauce, condiment etc.

For our Pantry Organizing Refresh, she really put a lot of thought into categorizing the items so they are easily accessible. She had a spot for everything and a bin that [ somehow, how does she do it!? ] fit everything perfectly. She labeled everything so it’s easy to navigate as well as easy to keep up with. Having the bins labeled makes me want to maintain the level of organization!

Here are some other fun and simple tips for creating a clean, refreshed and organized pantry:

  • Start with a clean slate: take EVERYTHING out and wipe your space clean! A clean pantry is a clean mind…isn’t that what they say?
  • Invest in storage: It will make you feel good to know everything has a place and it’s important for maintaining!
  • Label your storage: Again, this is really key for maintaining the look and keeping everything in it’s place!
  • Keep most used items in arms length: this is helpful for your sanity along and allows you to easily grab what you need!
  • Make it pretty: a pretty space is a utilized space! I think making spaces that you use, prettier is important! Especially with how much time we are spending in the home right now!

I think our Pantry Organizing Refresh was just what we needed to really get going on some other house projects! With Summer’s arrival late last year, we need to prioritize her nursery and would love to get our outdoor spaces good to go before warmer weather!

And in case you’re looking for a little kitchen refresh of your own, I get asked often about our tile, countertops and paint! We are always so happy walking into our kitchen, the little details just make it comforting but bright and cheery! Highly recommend!

Our tile is ‘Cloe 2.5″ x 8″ Ceramic Subway Tile’ by Bedrosians. The cabinet color is ‘Swiss Coffee’ by Kelly Moore. And our counters are “Silver Stallion” quartz!

What big projects are on your list for the new year? Our Pantry Organizing Refresh was a big one, but you may want to follow along here for more highlights of the home and of course, the ongoing driveway saga!

xx
